A severe vulnerability in KVM PwnEscape (CVE-2026-99999) was recently disclosed. To keep your servers secure, we’ll be rebooting every hypervisor in our fleet to apply the fix.
Reboots will begin soon and will take place one location at a time, with each node in a location handled one by one. Your server will be offline for about 30 minutes, though in rare cases, such as an unexpected issue, it may take a little longer. We don’t have an exact time for your location yet, but we’ll update this notice as soon as we have a firmer estimate.
This maintenance also brings a few improvements. During the reboot, we’ll enable the technical prerequisites for AMD-SEV and measured boot. AMD-SEV will become available in your control panel a few days afterward, and measured boot will follow shortly after that. The reboot will also resolve several known bugs and issues.
We’ll keep this notice updated as maintenance progresses. Thank you for your patience while we keep your infrastructure secure and up to date.
